National Volunteer Team

From Team HuckPac

Plans are moving forward to launch the National Volunteer Team later this week. Our goal is to build a strong team of conservatives dedicated to assisting Huck PAC endorsed candidates in every county of the United States.

Last year was a learning experience for us. We had a strong record of candidate support but we aren't satisfied with the results. We want to do better. Real issues such as tax reform, traditional marriage, sanctity of life, 2nd amendment, border security, etc hang in the balance and we want to make sure we have the resources and volunteers ready to fight for what we believe in.

We hope you will be a part of this new team. Look for an email from Gov. Huckabee very soon...

Emanuel Spoke Directly With Blagojevich About Senate Seat...What?? Did Obama not tell the truth??

First we hear that Obama did an internal investigation and found…

That his staff had no inappropriate conversations with Illinois Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich over who would succeed the president-elect in the Senate

Read more here…

Now we find out that…

Rahm Emanuel, President-elect Obama's chief of staff, had direct discussions with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich about Obama's vacant Senate seat

So my question is which of the other Jedi hand wave’s he’s done to the kool-aid drinkers who worship him aren’t true?

Could it be…

I’ll cut taxes on 95% of Americans…
Rezko, Wright, and Ayers won’t advise me…

The list is very long.

Another question is... Why isn't the MSM reporting this?

Huckabee on the Daily Show - December 8th, 2008

Mike is not afraid to discuss controversial topics with anyone, Bill Mayr, Jon Stewart, Al Sharpton; it doesn’t matter, he will stand his ground and explain his views; not in a defensive mode; but in a positive understanding manner.
This is one of the things I like about Mike; even though he has a difference of opinion with the person he’s talking to, he will do it with respect and dignity; and he will gain their respect in the process.
This is why he will make a great President.

This weekend on Huckabee

Mike Huckabee kicks it off on "Huckabee" at 8 p.m. EST on Saturday and 11 p.m. EST Sunday, when he interviews John Rowland, the former governor of Connecticut, who resigned in 2004 under the threat of impeachment. Rowland, caught in a financial scandal, was convicted and served 10 months in prison.

Illinois Attorney General Asks Court to Declare Governor 'Unable to Serve

From FoxNews....

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The Illinois attorney general has filed a motion with the state's highest court asking justices to remove scandal-plagued Gov. Rod Blagojevich from office.

Lisa Madigan took the action Friday as pressure on the governor intensified to step down. The motion challenges his fitness to serve and asks that the Supreme Court oust him.

Madigan scheduled a news conference in Chicago Friday morning to discuss the motion.

The move came as the governor prayed with several ministers in his home before heading to his office, telling them he is innocent and will be vindicated "when you hear each chapter completely written," according to one of the pastors

Huckabee and Palin top early 2012 list

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Barack Obama is still more than six weeks from White House, and the next Iowa caucuses are more than three years away — so naturally, it’s time to start talking 2012, as a new national poll suggests that Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee top the list of potential 2012 Republican presidential hopefuls.

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey out Friday that serves as an early measure of potential support for the next GOP presidential nomination, Huckabee tops the list. Thirty-four percent of Republicans and independent voters who lean towards the GOP say they are very likely to support the former Arkansas governor if he were to become their party’s nominee in 2012. Huckabee surprised many by winning this year's Republican caucuses in Iowa and seven other contests before ending his run in March.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, John McCain's running mate in this year's election, draws nearly as much support: 32 percent of those polled said they would get behind a Palin nomination. And with the survey's sampling error of plus or minus 4.5 points, Palin and Huckabee are statistically tied.

The survey is an early measure of possible support, not a horse race snapshot.

“It might come as a surprise to some that Palin does better than Huckabee among GOP men but that Huckabee beats Palin among Republican women,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “Palin's strength is also concentrated among older Republicans, but Huckabee may have a slight edge among conservative Republicans."

Among voters who consider themselves born again or evangelical, Huckabee draws more support than Palin, with a 9 point edge. Meanwhile, Palin holds a 7-point advantage among non-born again or evangelical voters.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is in third place in the poll, with 28 percent of those questioned saying they are very likely to suport him as the GOP nominee in 2012.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich draws roughly the same level of support as Romney, at 27 percent. In 2007, Gingrich flirted with making a run for the Republican presidential nomination, but decided against jumping into the race.

Twenty-three percent of those polled say they would be very likely to support Rudy Giuliani if he decides to run again. The former New York City mayor was the national frontrunner in many polls in late 2007, before performing poorly in the early primaries and caucuses. He dropped out of the race for the White House in late January.

Louisana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who's considered a rising star in the GOP, draws support from 19 percent of those surveyed, and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist 7 percent.

“Jindal and Crist are relative unknowns. The fact that they get much less support than the others is likely a function of name recognition rather than a true measure of their potential base of support," says Holland.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted Monday and Tuesday, with 460 Republicans and independent voters who lean Republican questioned by telephone.

Who's Next????

This picture pretty much sums up my feelings on the whole bailout frenzy. I’m one to those guys that likes analogies; so here we go.

I believe the wall is the American taxpayers and the guys walking away from the wall are Wall Street CEO’s, big three automaker CEO’s, insurance companies, and so on and so on.

So who’s next?

Will it be transportation companies such as Union Pacific, CSX or some of the big trucking companies? I mean these companies move products from shore to shore; kinda hard for any company to get their widget to market if they can’t get it off the dock. What about telecommunication providers such as AT&T, Qwest, or Verizon; without these companies the Information Superhighway would be a gravel road.

Who will it be?

Are there any leaders in Congress (Republican or Democrat) who have the moxie to put a stop to this? It seems like a lot of members of Congress have one item on their agenda's......get re-elected!

Opinions? Thoughts?

My take on the big 3 bailout....

First time around they asked for $25BILLION.... now it's $32BILLION.

WHERE will it stop? WHEN will it stop? WHO's next??
