Stop the insanity!!

Stop the insanity!!
So you remember that 1990’s phrase from Susan Powter? Now I’m not endorsing her or her beliefs; I’m just borrowing the phrase because it is very appropriate for the times we are living in today.

What has happened to our government? What happened to our core values, the things and belief’s that this great country was founded on? My family and I have a great fear that we as a Christian based country are becoming that preverbal frog in boiling water. You know the story; they say that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will leap out right away to escape the danger.

But, if you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant, and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling,
the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.

The frog's survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes.
This is a story that is used to illustrate how people might get themselves into terrible trouble.

This parable is often used to illustrate as humans have to be careful to watch slowly changing trends in the environment, not just the sudden changes. It’s a warning to keep us paying attention not just too obvious threats but to more slowly developing.

So where can a 47 year old, married father of 6 turn to in order to make a difference; to be able to look at my kids and say “Your Dad is doing everything I can to protect your future…’. It didn’t take me long to decide Governor Mike Huckabee and Team HuckPAC where I needed dedicate my time and efforts too.
Governor Huckabee as his book says, is doing the right thing; as my late father told me when I was a kid “you have to stand for something….or you’ll fall for anything”

America don’t be like a lot of members of Congress, have a backbone and STAND for something now!
